Level 2 · Hybrid
Advanced Program in Cyber Security
An intermediate, practice-heavy program that builds job-ready defensive (blue team) skills and introduces offensive (red team) techniques so defenders understand what they are defending against. It follows the Fundamentals course and prepares learners for SOC and security-analyst roles.
Key facts
- Duration
- 4 months (16 weeks)
- Time commitment
- 10–12 hours per week (170 hours total)
- Mode
- Hybrid
- Prerequisite
- Cyber Security Fundamentals (Level 1) or equivalent; BTech in Computer Science/IT or Cyber Security Specialization
The market's strongest entry-level demand is for defensive roles: SOC analysts, security analysts and incident responders. This program is weighted toward blue-team skills: hardening, monitoring, detection, vulnerability management and incident response. A dedicated module then introduces offensive security, because effective defenders need to understand attacker methods first-hand. The course closes with a purple-team capstone where learners attack a lab environment and then detect, investigate and remediate the same attack.
